Subject: Joanna Walker's Fate

Okay, this is something I'm really on the fence about as I have
several ideas on what we can do with Joanna in this story.

In the flashback scene, Macbeth's fiance whom I have yet to name (I'm
thinking either Lucy or Mina) gets converted into a vampire by
Dracula, and Macbeth is forced to slay her as she is quite insane afterwards
and dangerous.

I wanted to parallel this again in the present. And here are some
ideas.

1. Joanna is lying in the hospital dying, but recovers.

2. She dies, too much blood loss.

3. To further mess with Macbeth, Dracula goes to the hospital and
finishes the job by converting Joanna into a vampire.

The third option leads to several alternatives, as we know that
Joanna is not alive in "Timedancer"

3a. Macbeth is forced to kill Joanna

3b. Since vampires have their own free will in TGS, Joanna leaves with
Macbeth at the end and moves in with him, where he does all he can to
help her. Challenges later on with her hunger for human blood, not being
able to move in sunlight, etc. She now being an outcast. And at some point
there is tragedy and she does die, maybe takes her own life in the future
since she can't live with this change.

The title "Loss" could also symbolize Joanna's loss of her humanity.
