Cool. Made some notes today for things that could/should go into it:

INTRODUCTION
We'll need to discuss some of the ideas about the Great Quest and
season 5 in general that have been floated, or at least those that
seem now pretty clear – the season will be based in a manor house in
Somerset, it will deal with the founding and growth of New Camelot
and Arthur's education and efforts to recruit more knights to the
cause.

REGULAR CAST
Todd's bios for ARTHUR, GRIFF, MERLIN and MARY are excellent and
will only need updating. I suggest we'll also need to work on a bio
for JENNIFER CAMFORD.

SUPPORTING CAST
I think it would be helpful to pin down as much information as we
can on the supporting cast. Even though, the above five will be our
regulars, we've often had the problem in the past that characters
like Dulci in particular aren't very well understood and so tend to
get ignored. We don't necessarily need character bios of the length
of the regular cast, but I think developing basic bios for DULCINEA,
LEBA, RORY and CAVALL would be helpful. It might also be worth
making bios for other characters who might show up again if we're
able. In no particular order, and probably leaving some out: JILL
CLARK, LYDIA DUANE & PETER MORWOOD-SMYTHE, NIGEL SEFTON, ROBERT
BRADDOCK, ELAINE DUVAL, CERVUS, FAULCONBRIDGE, IMOGEN, QUETZALCOATL
(Nicodemus may well have already supplied one), MACBETH, LUCY,
MICHAEL, JANE NELSON, KEVIN MITSON, UNA, LEO and BROCK. And others
I'm forgetting off-hand, perhaps…

RECURRING ANTAGONISTS
We won't be needing Morgana this season, of course, but Todd has
already developed excellent and useful bios for MR. DUVAL and LUCIUS
ADRIANS which might be adapted. I think it might be useful to
develop bios for WILLIAM POWELL, DARIEN MONTROSE, SYBIL, SEKHMET,
TEZCATLIPOCA (again, I'm sure Niocodemus did one), GRIMALKIN and the
VAMPYRES.

THEMES AND STORYLINES
Not in the season 4 Bible, but I think this would be useful for
outlining how the characters are going to interact with one another,
and some of the recurring plots that may or may not play a part such
as a government bill against Arthur, Mary's cure, the Thirteen
Treasures, tension between Griff and Jennifer or what have you.

EPISODE PROPOSALS
It couldn't hurt to gather together all the episode ideas we have at
present. Somewhere at home, I have a more complete list of ideas I
gathered together, but here's one I put together more recently from
memory. These are either ideas from past discussions or in a couple
of cases just odd ideas of mine. Clearly, this isn't designed to
reflect the final season – it's just a list of off-the-wall ideas
that could be considered if we get stuck on breakdowns. Please add
any here I'm forgetting. We might as well get our thoughts together
now rather than having to trawl the archive for that great idea we
had 15 months ago...

5.01 – Premiere. ("The Great Quest"?). Possibly set in June 2001
(nine months after season 4), with Arthur declaring Camelot House
open. This episode needs to establish everything. The Queen's Speech
may take place at this time.
5.02 – "Traffic". A story dealing with human traffickers and the
asylum/immigration problem in the UK.
5.03 – "Crawling from the Wreckage". An adventure set around the
Brocken dealing with the aftermath for those in the area who lived
in the shadow of Madoc for a couple of years.
5.04 – Tezcatlipoca and Quetzalcoatl episode.
5.05 – The Green Knight vs. The Headless Horseman. Fight!
5.06 – Lucius in Rome. No ideas for content, but I think he should
at least visit. Another Lucius possibility – he unleashes some kind
of all-powerful monster to decimate the human population and allow
him to take over and rebuild from the wreckage of humanity. The
snag? He can't control it, either, so it's just going to keep going
until it destroys the world…
5.07 – Todd mentioned an idea based around the Kalevala.
5.08 – Bonfire Night episode.
5.09 – Remembrance Day episode.
5.10 – "Archangel". Story about Frankenstein's monster.
5.11 – Story delving into the Russian Revolution of 1917
5.12 – Story delving into the English Civil War
5.13 – Story delving into the American Revolution
5.14 – Sekhmet recruits were-cheetahs from Mary's old school.
5.15 – Mary goes out of her way to defend a clan of wolves/were-
wolves, but her sympathy for their plight makes her blind to the
fact that they aren't as innocent as she wants to believe they are.
5.16 – Pinnochio? (Where does this story come from?)
5.17 – Santa Claus story (see my post to the main list last
Christmas in which Greg B suggested I was doing drugs. ;))
5.18 – Visit to the Elder Court. Possibly tied in with…
5.19 – Isfet's revenge against the Gryphon Knights
5.20 – Mary tries to find a cure for her lycanthropy but fails.
5.21 – Nastilane becomes a knight
5.22 – Fara-Maku and Tea potentially become knights
5.23 – Environmental disaster idea of DPH's, fearuing Montrose's
company.
5.24 – The Questing Beast
5.25 – The Illuminati coup against Duval.
5.26 – Togrul and Nyctimus return.
5.27 – An episode in the Houses of Parliament
5.28 – The Golem in Prague (possibly during the 2002 floods).
5.29 – Vampyres trying to find cure episode
5.30 – Sybil episode
5.31 – "The Tale of Sir Thomas" – something about the life of Sir
Thomas Malory
5.32 – Arabian Nights episode
5.33 – Lucius takes over Camelot House
5.34 - Japanese Dream-Eater episode (okay, okay, I want to rip
off "Spirited Away"... ;))
5.35 – Regina Fitzwalter interviews Arthur on television.

INFORMATION ON THE ORIGINAL CAMELOT
This one would be reliant on you, Todd. I think it would be helpful
to have a section on the original Camelot, in TGS and perhaps
generally. How was it organised, where was it located, what did they
wear (e.g. what about the Order of the Garter from `Sir Gawain'?),
any information about Pentecost etc. Some of the answers here are
fairly obvious, other stuff I just don't know, but I think some
background information here would be beneficial.

RESOURCES
This would include the excellent account of the American Revolution
Todd posted on Thursday, as well other reference sources, such as
those already listed.
