STEPHEN SOBOTKA - The "Ian Ravyn" arc looks quite good to me, and if
handled well, should be a lot of fun to release to our readers, particularly
the way that it engages in the little misleading into the possibility that
Ian's a hybrid rather than a cyborg.

THE GARGOYLE WORLD COUNCIL - A few more thoughts of mine about it.

1. Would the Avalon Clan be there? It did occur to me after signing
off last time that the logistics for this would be tricky. First, there's the
business of getting a message to the Avalon gargoyles, which, given that
they're in a place cut off from the rest of the world except by magic, would not
be easily done. Then there's the question of whether Gabriel and any other
delegates could be certain that Avalon indeed did view the Gargoyle World
Council as where they needed to be, or if it thought that they needed to be in a few
other places instead.

2. Before picking locations for the new clans, be certain to look
over the list of "places visited" in "Re-Emergence" first, so that we have things
consistent.

3. Why should all the gargoyle clans (such as the one Nicodemus
proposed for the Rocky Mountains or the Ozarks) be ones that have names? I always
thought that the original nameless condition of gargoyles was a very intriguing
feature, and would like to suggest that one of the new clans (that we didn't meet
in the Avalon World Tour or the first two seasons of TGS) be a nameless one -
maybe the one from the Rockies/Ozarks, to form a contrast with the gargoyles
present who do have names. These nameless gargoyles would be (in my imagination)
very arch-conservative about the Gargoyle Way, and would probably view the
rest of the clans having names as a sign of having been "corrupted" by human
customs. It could make for some interesting drama potential.

NICODEMUS - The Koschei idea could well work (is this the Koschei the
Deathless of Russian legend?), but I'd go for him having been placed in mere
dormancy rather than outright death.

As for Antarctic gargoyles - I've got to agree with Stephen here. I
don't think that the South Pole would be too hospitable for them.

SPELLING NITS - I know that this is Breakdowns and not Edits, but I
would like to bring up one piece of mispelling that I've seen numerous times,
and would like to correct; the proper spelling is "villain" and not "villian".

ANDREA'S SISTER - This is something of a problem. In our Breakdowns
for "Lethe", we had decided that she was a casualty of Demona's spree
in "City of Stone", and even laid the groundwork for it by having Andrea mention
her disappearance. (No doubt, the fan who put that idea into his or her
fanfic was very perceptive - like the one who figured out from one or two lines
of Maddox's in "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", such as the bit about his estranged
son living in Europe, that Maddox was really Merlin's father in "Pendragon"). It
is frustrating to not be able to use that notion after all, but I
suppose that Entity and Stephen are right here, and that we're going to have to
find some other explanation for Andrea's sister's disappearance (maybe just a
regular mugging by regular street thugs).
